I woke up at 6 o'clock, and wanted to see the morning sun  in the terrace

but could not open the keyby myself, after all, have to wake up
the reception desk. I stayed at the terrace for 1 hour, and went to eat breakfast.
Then I went to Doucar chems gar Rentiere by petit-taxi, and Grand Taxi is chartered today.
I wanted to discount 350DH two places  to 300DH.
When i told them I give the Marlboro,everybody D'accord!

First we went to Kasbah of Tifoultoutte by Grand Taxi,
 this is appeared in movie "Lawrence of Arabia"just like a set of the movie.
The gorge of Ouarzazard and the mountain of Zagror were seen,when paying 10DH, entering
the inside, and going to the terrace in the rooftop. It is beautiful,

also between the way coming here from the town.

"Return to Innocence" of the enigma sounded about 100 times in the head.

After the meal,I went to the terrace at the hotel.

 It is a wonderful starry sky here though there was no star in Marrakesh and Casablanca.

 I wonder why the man of  reception desk came together, but he told me there is no guest here

,only I stay tonight.

it is sure not to meet nobody,but how do they manage after I wouldl check out the day
after tomorrow? this is not busy time but I was worry about it.

 When I saw the stars in the terrace afterwards, I feel alright even staying alone. 
It was lovely to meet people  in Casablanca and Marrakesh,but I need to be alone. 
To clean up my mind,feel like starting over.I was enjoy in Morroco.

Ｋasbah de  Taourirt is a place of Glaoui lived in 20th century.
In the  movie "Te in Sahara", a moribund husband is nursed here. However, he dies, wife goes out of here in the morning, and move to the desert.
I was taken to the carpet shop in Kasbah. Old man tried to explain the carpet,but I cut off though spread them out .Because I was not had a mind to buy it. I visited so many shops,so I used to say no.

 However, the souvenir is almost the same even if going to the country side.

I think maybe some spices are good to buy. I ate Tajine of the lemon taste at a restaurant.
It was delicious. Most of marocan food was so good.

今朝もアザーンと共に起き、ボーッとした後、荷作りをする。

初日に出会った日本人カップルとタクシーをシェアしてＣＴＭのバスターミナルへ行く。

今回のメインとなる砂漠の旅が始まる。ハッサンのコネで前から２列目の席を予約してもらった。

３０分遅れでバスは出発した。刻々と変化する景色。オートアトラスの山脈も凄かったけど、

ガードレールも電灯もない道をすごいスピードで走りぬけるバス。

そんなスペクタクルな車窓風景にも係わらず、居眠りしてしまった。

いつもハッと気が付くと景色がまるで変っていてビックリ！

町から村になって、岩漠になって、土漠になって、そして砂漠へと変化していくのがわかる。

午後に近づくにつれ、ジリジリ暑さが増す頃、突然ワルザザードに到着した。

After adhan in the early morning, I woke up and prepair the baggage.

A Japanese couple met at the first day,we shared  the taxi and went to the bus
terminal of CTM.
The travel to the desert starts. The bus left for 30 minutes late. Scenery changed quickly. It buses
though the mountain range of auto ATLAS was also terrible speed driving through on the wild road
without the guardrail and the light.

I always surprised because scenery has changed when noticing it.
It becomes a village from the town, and the desert to change and a vague soil in a vague rock.
It suddenly arrived at Ouarzazate when it got so hot in the afternoon.

 

 

ガイドのハッサンは昨日に引き続きとても良くしてくれた。

昨日は４人で120DH（1500円）で、長引いたからチップくれと

言ったら、サラに却下されていたし。

マラケッシュ、フェズではガイドを雇った方がいい。

一人で歩くと自称ガイドがしつこしし、

初日にガイドとスークを歩くのは「お披露目」になるので、

その後はあまりうっとうしい人も 寄ってこなくなるから。

夕方銀行に行って両替し、ジャマエルフナ広場を少し歩いて、

スークの中に行くと、偶然昨日ハッサンに連れて来られた店に着いた。

店員に取り囲まれ、店に引きずりこまれる。

「何も買わないよ！」と予告。

20歳くらいの男の子たちは、4，5歳から店番をはじめ、言葉と商売の駆け引きを覚えてすっかりプロの店員だ。何も買わないし、おまけに皿まで割ったのに、彼らは歓迎してくれ、

家にも招待してくれた。暗いメディナの中をグルグル回っている時は不安になったが、やっとたどり着いた

家では家族が出てきて、歓待され、結婚したばかりの美しいお姉さんも一緒に記念写真を撮った。子供もすごく人懐こいし、可愛かった。 そして帰りはタクシーでホテルに帰った。

My guide,Hassan worked very much for us yesterday. 
We paid 120DH (1500 yen) for 4 people yesterday.I think it is better to hire a guide in Marrakesh and Fez. 
so many private guide come when walking alone,so walking with the official guide in Souk is a kind of "Announcement" at the first day. Nobody comes after that.

in the evening, I went to bank for exchanging, a little walking in the Jamaa el fna plaza, and Souk.

I arrived at the shop of yesterday's tour,and they remember me well. 
I notified that "I don't buy anything". Boys of about 20 years are study about the business and several language from 4, 5 years old and professional completely clerk.

I didn't buy anything,broke the plate additionally,but they are so friendly,and invited their house.

We walked in dark Medina, and at last we reached home, and all family welcomed me.

I took the pictuer with beautiful sister ..just marriage.. together,children were so friendly and lovely, too.

I had a good time and returned to the hotel by taxi.

今日は私１人でガイドを雇ったので、念願の皮なめし職人地区に行こう。

昨夜会った宮田君と朝食を食べ、彼を見送って洗濯もした。

９時に昨日のガイドのハッサンが来た。車で皮なめし職人地区に行く。

車の中から見るとメディナは少し違うおもむき。

皮なめし職人地区はよく写真やテレビでも紹介されている観光名所で、

ずっと見たかったところではあるけど、なんとなく自分が文明社会から来た

偽善者のような気がして少し悲しくなった。

ものすごい腐敗臭と聞いていたけど午前中なのでそうでもなかった。

街よりも自然が見たくなったので、ウーリカ谷に連れて行ってもらう。

ガイドはガソリン代だけ余分に払ってくれればいいと言う。

今日は月曜なのでマーケットが開いていた。青空市場のようなマーケットでは、

売られているものは町と変らないが、銀のシガレットケースとブレスレットを買った。

ハッサンは羊肉とフルーツを買っていた。マラケッシュから１時間なのに、アトラスに

近づくと景色が一変する。明日の移動が楽しみだ。

屋台でケバブも食べた。香辛料がきいていておいしかった。

だんだん朝の快適さからジリジリ暑さを増してくる頃、帰り道でハッサンの車がパンクしてしまった。

ジュラバを脱いでタイヤ交換する彼を手伝うふりをする。

町に戻り、ＣＴＭのオフィスで明日のバスの予約をした。

７時半発のワルザザード行きは４６ＤＨ。ホテルに送ってもらい、今日のガイド料１２０ＤＨとマルボロ１箱あげたら喜んでいた。

Today,I go to the workshop of leather（Quartier des Tanneurs) with my guide. It ate breakfast with Japanese man who met last night,

and after he left the hotel,I washed.
The guide came at 9,went together by his car.
 I wanted to see here,it is the place for long time in the tourist spot that was able to be introduced well also on the photograph and the television. It was not so a terrible smell in the morning.
after that I wanted to see the Vallee de I'Ourika.The guide said  only to pay only the gasoline fee extra.
The market was open because it was Monday. In the market like the open air market, I  bought the cigarette case and the bracelet of silver.
Hassan was buying mutton and the fruit. Scenery changes completely when it approaches ATLAS from Marrakesh.
I ate Kebab,the spice was delicious.
Hassan's car had blowed out in the way back.
I helped him,while he exchanged the tire.
we were back to town, and  I  reseved my seat of tomorrow's bus for Ouarzazate(46DH),
I paid the guide 120DH, and Marlboro,he was pleased,and sent me to the hotel.

 

ホテルに帰って休んだが、２時間経っても頭痛はおさまらず、寝ているのもつまらないので、

屋上のテラスに行って広場を眺めながらコーラを飲んでいた。

マラケッシュの中心のジャマエルフナ（死人の集まりという意味）広場は

一年中お祭りをしている。 ケバブを焼くにおいにムカムカしながら座っていると、

後ろから同じホテルにいる日本人の若いカップルが、「地球の歩き方見せてください」

と話かけてきた。

久しぶりの日本語だったので、うれしくなっていろいろ話したいのに、

話してる側からモーレツに吐き気がこみ上げてきて、

トイレに駆け込みゲロゲロとなってしまった。しかしこのゲロの後、すっかり気分がよくなった。

部屋に戻ってからも、日記を書くつもりで外のパテオに出たら、砂漠から帰ってきた日本人の男の子に会った。

彼は昨日までザゴラの砂漠にいて、明日の早朝にはエッサウィラに行ってしまうのでせっせと砂漠情報を聞く。

寒暖の差はここ以上。昼間は何も考えられないくらい暑い。ホテルにいても。

だんだん冷え込んでいくパテオで二人、哲学的な話もした。

広場には行けなかったが、有意義な時間を過ごせた。

I felt a headache after asleep even if 2 hours passed, I went to the terrace in the rooftop of the hotel and drink a cola,looking at the plaza.Palce Djamaa el fna (meaning gathering of the dead)was at the center of Marrakesh, does the festival all the year round. A young Japanese couple talked me that "Please show your Japanese guide book" I heard Japanese after a long time, I wanted to speak more, but become so bad feeling ,went in the rest room. Feelings have improved completely after that.I was going back my room and I met a japanese man  from the desert ,he came back the desert of Zagora yesterday, and I need the desert information assiduously because he goes to Essaouira early morning tomorrow. We talked long time at the Pateo that gradually got cold,and spent  a good time though I could not go to the plaza.

マラケッシュに着いて、アメリカ人サラ、トルコ人シュピールを加わり女４人で行動する事になった。

暑い暑い日差しの中鉄道駅への移動やホテルでのガイドの手配は荷物も重いししんどかった。

ガイドのハッサンがやって来てレストランに連れて行ってもらい、サラダとクスクスを食べた。

そしていよいよスークの中へ。カサブランカと同じくごみごみした生活感あふれる所だけど、

物売りのパワーと今日マラケッシュを離れる３人の購買意欲のため、全然前に進めない。

まだ買い物するつもりのない私は、それだけでバテバテになってきて、後半のバビーヤ宮殿、

サアード朝墳墓群見学はフラフラになっていた。強い日差しのせいで、脱水状態のため

頭痛がする。なんとか観光を終え、６時前にやっとジャマエルフナ広場の屋上でティータイムになるけど、この時は早くホテルに帰って休みたいとだけ考えていた。

We arrived at Marrakesh, I met 2 women from America( Sara )and Turkey (Shupel).

My luggage was too heavy, we arrange of the guide at the hotel.

Our guide Hassan, he took to the restaurant, and we ate the salad and the Kuskus. 
We went shop area, It was so powerful,and very crowded as well as Casablanca, and 3 women wanted to buy souvenir because they would leave Marrakesh today.
I was so tired, when we visited at  the the Babeya palace and the grave of Saard. I have a headache because of strong sunlight. I managed to be thought only that I return to the hotel and wanted to take a rest at this time.Sightseeing tour was finished, and it finally we had a tea time in the terrace  in the Djemaa el fna  plaza at 6 o'clock. 

 

ノーマと近くのレストランでランチを食べた。ノーマはオーストラリアから離婚後

トルコに来て、イスタンブールの学校で英語を教えている人だった。

来る前には、みんなが反対したけど、世界の反対側まで行かなければ別れられなかった夫の話や、自立した娘さんの話を聞いた。

いろいろ苦労したはずなのに、明るく清々しい人だった。昼食後両替して、CTMのオフィスで明日のマラケッシュ行きのバスの予約をした。

ホテルに戻り、シャワーを浴びて洗濯していると、ホテルの人が来て、部屋にいるならレセプションでお茶でも飲めというので、ご馳走になった。

レセプションにはオーナーのマダムもいて、その子供も遊んでいた。マダムは７年前にスイスのローザンヌからモロッコに帰ってきてホテルを始めたという。

翌朝は夜明け前に起きて、ホテルを出る。カサブランカを離れると、景色は大きく変化して、赤茶けた大地に草がパラパラ生えた山が見えたり、

牧草地があったり、小さな村が見えた。途中の休憩で知り合ったマルバという黒人カナダ女性とマラケッシュに着いたら一緒に観光する事にした。

 We ate lunch together.Norma came to Turkey from Australia after she divorced, and was teaching English at the school in Istanbul now. I heard about her husband and an independent daughter.She was nice person though had a hard time variously. After the lunch, we exchange money and I reserved the bus tomorrow at the office of CTM for Marrakesh. I return to the hotel, taking shower, and washing. There was owner's madam in the reception and the child was playing. The madam says that she comes back from Lausanne in Switzerland to Morocco 7 years ago and started this hotel. I got up early morning, and left the hotel next morning. When we left Casablanca, the grass on the mountain, there was a pasture, and scenery seemed to change greatly in the small village. It met a black Canadian woman named Malba on the way, when we arrive to Marrakech,to do sightseeing together.

夜明け前、アザーンの声が聞こえる。

１日５回のお祈りはイスラムの日常である。私達の宿は安いが２ツ星くらい。

シャワー、トイレ付き、ついでにテラスも付いているが美しいとは言いがたい。

朝日が昇ると、昨夜は気付かなかったが白い建物が立ち並ぶ、名前どおりの町だ。

朝晩は涼しい。これは意外な事だった。

昨夜は初めてローマに着いた時と同じくらいのカルチャーショック。

イタリア、スペインものんびりしているけど、ここはそれ以上で、ホテルに落ち着くまで、

倍以上の時間がかかった。

第三世界、イスラムの国、確かにそうだけど雰囲気は悪くない。

ものすごく人当たりがいいのである。

目が合えば誰もがニコニコしているし、子供は人懐こいし、暖かい人達のようだ。

ただ、私が考えているよりはるかに物価が安いので、知らずに払いすぎている。

といっても１００円くらいの事だが、ここでは大きな金額になる。

朝ノーマがチェックアウトするので、一緒に付いていく。彼女はこれからツアーに合流して、フェスへ。私とは逆周りのコースを行く。

　国連広場付近の新しい街並みを通る。Bd.Youssefは、真ん中に木が生い茂ったこざっぱりした大通り。途中のカフェで朝食を食べた。その後モスクを目指して、ひたすら歩いた。目の前に海が見えて、巨大モスクが現われた。

モダンでパステルカラーの建物はとてもセンスがいい。現国王ハッサンⅡ世のモスク。

１９８６年から８年がかりで完成したモロッコ最大のモスク。ミナレットの高さも世界一の２００ｍ。海・太陽・風をモチーフに作られ、

幾何学模様がとても美しい。とても気持ちの良い場所だと思う。

I heard  the voiceo of pray in  predawn.
We can hear this voice five times in a day in Islamic country. Our hotel is cheap.but with the shower and the rest room,terrace,not so beautiful inside.
It is a town with all white buildings in the morning sun though I did not notice it last night.
It is cool day and night. This was an unexpected thing.
It was almost the same culture shock as the time that arrives at Rome for the first time.
It took time to arrive at the hotel but atmosphere is not bad.

Third world,Islamic country,everyting's first time for me. 
Everyone smiles, and the children were so friendly,they are warm people.
However, prices are cheaper than I think, we pay too much. 
Norma checks out the hotel in the morning. She join the tour tomorrow, to Fez. A new street in the vicinity of the United Nations plaza passes. Bd.Youssef is a Main Street where the tree grew in abundance at the center. We ate breakfast in a cafe on the way. and walked to the mosque afterwards. A huge mosque appeared in front of the sea. It is very modern of the pastel color building is very nice. Present king HassanⅡ Mosque.
The maximum mosque in Morocco, from 1986 were completed. The height of the minaret is 200m that is highest  in the world. This imaged Sun,Moon and Wind, and the geometrical pattern is very beautiful. I think that it is a very comfortable place.

私がモロッコに行ったのは１９９７年７月。

昨日の午後にミラノマルペンサ空港からドバイへと移動した。

深夜到着だったが、予想通りすごい人である。両替、パスポートコントロール、ホテル手配で

一時間くらいかかったが、無事ホテルに到着。

朝去年のガイドのオマール氏に電話してみた。

まる一年ぶりになるので懐かしい。

今夜はダナも一緒に夕食食べようと言ってくれた。

前回も通ったクレオパトラスパに行く。

念願のアーユルヴェーダマッサージは1時間２８５ＤＨ（安い！）

本場のマッサージを堪能して、ウォーターベッドで昼寝した。

ドバイのホスピタリティは最高だと思う。全くストレスを感じない国だ。

夜8時にオマールがダナと迎えに来てくれるので、それまで近くのショッピングセンターで

買い物した。急に連絡したにもかかわらず、時間を作ってくれた二人に感謝。

パキスタン料理を食べて、クリークを散歩して、空港まで送ってもらった。

I moved from the Mirano malpensa airport to Dubai yesterday afternoon.
It was many people an arrival at midnight.

I reached  at the hotel after 1  hour for exchange, the
passport control, and the hotel arrangements.
I called Umer ( my last year's guide) in the morning.
He rememberd me after 1 year passed. 
And he said to eat supper together tonight.
I went to the Cleopatra spa again, and took the massage of the ayurveda.

I was satisfied of the massage of 285DH (It was cheap), and took a nap in the water bed.
I think that Hospitality in Dubai is the highest. It is a country that doesn't feel
pressured at all. 
I went to  shopping until　8’clock, then Umer came to pick me up with Dana

They are so nice people and I thank for them to make a time for me.

We ate the Pakistan dish again, walked beside the creek, and they sent me to the airport.
